Franchising Will Be the Cornerstone of the ‘New Economy,’ As It Points the Way to Economic Growth and Stabilization

There is a wealth of statistical information currently published which clearly shows that 2012 will be a time of new and continued growth, indicative of a bounce-back effect from the economic slump of 2009-10. This much venerated and celebrated year should prove to be, overall, one of growth and prosperity in the business world, and Franchise Growth Systems is here to help usher you prosperity-minded venture capitalists through the maze of doubt and into the light of economic recovery.

According to an IHS Global Insight report prepared for the International Franchise Association and published December 2011, employment is slated to rise in 2012 (0.2%), while the number of total establishments doing business will increase by a whopping 2.5%, to nearly 750,000 – not quite pre-recession numbers, to be sure, but a significant improvement over 2009’s calamitous drop of 3.5%. GDP and overall economic output will remain relatively the same, with only a slight drop from 2011’s numbers.

This is good news for those looking at franchising investment(s). 2012 will provide fertile ground for the seeds of new ventures – and with there being no shortage of outside-the-box thinkers brandishing 21st Century concepts worthy of going viral in the greater marketplace, there literally has been no better time in the history of business to invest in the right idea, in the form of an easy-to-manage business model. The ‘New Economy’ may look different, but it’s a paradigm shift as the old is sloughed off to make way for the novel ideas in franchise venture format.

Franchise Growth Systems (FGS) has deliberately sought out these kinds of innovative companies and ideas – from toy stores that focus on educational, non-violent games and toys, to swimming pool manufacturers who utilize green, earth-friendly technology, to fitness clubs that use state-of-the-art equipment and provide time and money-saving workout regimens. Our franchised businesses are helmed by many in that new crop of “idea makers,” who are helping shape the new economy by putting their vision and talents to work with a novel approach to transacting products and services.

But those are only a few standouts in our portfolio of visionary franchisors. How about 24/7 quick-serve breakfast that delivers a healthy meal? Or, bilingual tax preparers who can quickly calculate accurate accounting and income tax statements for both English and Spanish-speaking customers? What about trustworthy mechanics who worry more about getting the job done right – than lining their own pockets? Our roster contains truly forward-thinking companies doing something revolutionary in one way or another.

Come check out the rest of our portfolio of innovative and easy-to-manage brands representing growth industries. We think you’ll agree, it will be time well spent!
