21st Century Vet and IFS team up to Put Veterans in Business as Franchise Owners

Through the efforts of John Dunatov, Marc Olson, Keith Woodward and their venture 21st Century Vet, military veterans and their leadership skills will be put to good use in the arena of franchise ownership. A sister company of both Franchise Growth Systems and International Franchise Systems, 21st Century Vet aims to be part of a growing movement which was begun in Washington, DC, via the VA and Congress, and which is gaining momentum as more Vets return looking for direction in attaining business goals.

The company’s altruistic purposes are clear, and have multiple levels of application: franchise businesses are aiding economic recovery – both on a national and personal scale, allowing people to reinforce their own “economic security,” as well as contributing to the broader creation of businesses and jobs.  What better way to honor our veterans, than to offer them financial and occupational security – and through many different channels?

21st Century Vet has contacted numerous Veterans Affairs offices nationwide, and has already received an overwhelming response. One of the big challenges will be in meeting the demand which will surely arise, as more and more veterans return from service at home or abroad, and discover the opportunities through 21st Century Vet and VA offices which await them!

Contacts through job fairs are a big link to what should prove to be positive networking with viable candidates, who can move swiftly through the validation process and into business for themselves. Media and public relations campaigns are another way in which 21st Century Vet is going to “put out the word” and not only stir up interest amongst potential franchisees, but also in the hearts and minds of the general public, who will certainly warm to the feel good stories of, in some cases, injured or specially-challenged veterans who are rising to the occasion and making the transformation into a business leadership role.

21st Century Vet/IFS will be offering a variety of brands to suit the right veteran candidate, with a portfolio that currently includes 15 “Top 25 Hot Industries” brands – industries that include:

· Home Health Care

· Medical/Dental

· Fast Food Restaurants

· Automotive Repair

· Web Development and Online Marketing

· Leisure Products/Home Improvement

· Health and Beauty/Cosmetics

· Frozen Yogurt

· Private Security

· Background Checking/Candidate Screening

The 21st Century Vet “putting vets in business” program is designed to assist the veteran at every stage of the process, from the initial inquiry through the establishment of the business. International Franchise Solutions, along with Wells Fargo and the SBA are working hand in hand with qualified veterans, putting them in business, with the goal of putting thousands of veterans into businesses and employing many thousands more who are current job seekers throughout the United States.
